SURFACE PREPARATION:

General
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, loose rust, stains, grease, oil, wax, and other contaminants. Remove all loose, peeling, or chalky paint by sanding, scraping, high-pressure washing, sandblasting or other appropriate methods. Glossy
surfaces should be sanded to provide a roughened surface for good adhesion.
Wood
Prime with one coat of Acryseal HS, allow to dry overnight then, apply Finish Coat.
Metal (Ferrous – Iron and steel)
Remove all corrosion and mill scale to produce a clean metallic surface (for details of preparation methods contact PATSA Technical Services Department). Apply one coat of PATSA Alkydoxide.
Metal (Non – Ferrous – Aluminum, Galvanized, normal drying conditions)
Thoroughly wash down the surface with Thinner # 7 frequently changing clothes. Allow to dry, and then wash down with soapy water to remove salts. When dry apply one coat of PATSA Alkydoxide Primer.
Plastic (PVC):
Thoroughly degrease with H.D. Degreaser frequently changing cloths, and rub down with abrasive paper.

APPLICATION:

Stir well before use. Apply by brush, roller, air spray or airless spray for details of spray equipment contact PATSA Technical Services Department.
